We’ve shipped hundreds of Matic robots to real homes and the feedback has been incredible. Your insights are helping us fine-tune every detail, and we're rolling out constant improvements to make Matic even better. Here’s what’s new in the latest update:

Performance Boost

•  With the upgrade to Nvidia JetPack 6.1, Matic now runs with 20% less memory usage, meaning fewer crashes and interruptions to your cleaning cycles.

•  A 15% processing speed boost, delivering smoother operation and responsiveness throughout your home. More improvements are on the way as we optimize more! 

Making Things Easier on the Matic App

•  Updating your home layout? Matic now remembers your existing room names, schedules, and settings, so you don’t have to redo them.

•  Better schedule control – Easily turn schedules on/off and personalize them with custom names to fit your routine.

•  Need quick info? View your Wi-Fi connection type and access a new Factory Reset option right from the app.

Smarter Troubleshooting

•  Matic now detects wringer clogs and notifies you through the app and on the robot itself. Stay informed and take action before performance is affected.

•  Access Common Error Solutions through a handy new button located in settings, so you can easily troubleshoot common issues.

•  Precise and Graceful Navigation: The upgraded Matic NN (neural network) model ensures smoother and more reliable movement around walls, stairs, and obstacles.

•  Stair Auto-Detection: View real-time stair detection on your map – and easily edit stairs from the map menu – for added peace of mind and control.

•  Enhanced Edge Cleaning: Matic now gets closer to walls and objects, maximizing the cleaning coverage of your home.

•  Improved Mopping Efficiency: Increased water flow ensures a deeper, more effective clean.

Smarter Control with the Matic App:

•  Adjustable Room Boundaries: Easily split and merge room boundaries for greater control over cleaning and scheduling.

•  New Tab Views: We’ve moved map-editing functions to their own dedicated tab for easier access, and combined schedules and cleaning histories together into a new tab.
