Matic Robots does not collect ANY video or audio data, except in limited circumstances when we provide support services (and explicitly authorized by you). All processing occurs locally on your Matic itself.
Your map data is streamed to your app locally through your home Wi-Fi network.
If you choose to use your app remotely, your Matic will transmit data through an encrypted cloud connection if you explicitly opt-in to this feature by providing your consent in the app.
When you set up Matic for the first time, you will be asked to opt in and confirm that we can log usage data about your Matic.
This data allows us to monitor performance of your Matic, recommend when to replenish consumables such as HEPA bags, mop rolls and brush rolls, and make improvements.
Should you decide to opt-out, then you will be responsible for monitoring usage and reorder HEPA Bags, mop rolls, and brush rolls. These items can be purchased from our website as needed. We do not sell any device usage data to any 3rd party.
You may reach out to us at support@maticrobots.com at any time to request the deletion of your device usage data (if any).
