The mess is part of a life being lived. Cleaning shouldn’t pull us away from the people and moments that make it meaningful.

Matic exists to make cleaning something you never have to think about again. We’re building robots that work in real homes, ask for as little attention as possible, and earn families’ trust over time.

Technology isn’t the point. More time for what matters is.

Our story

Nine years in the making. It started with “clean this.”

Matic started in 2017 with a simple idea: robots should make everyday life easier. From our earliest prototypes to the Matic in thousands of homes today, every step has brought us closer to a future where homes take care of more.

From our founders

One promise at a time.

When we started Matic in 2017, we believed robots would eventually become a meaningful part of everyday life at home. But that future would have to be earned.

A home is one of the hardest environments a robot can enter: personal, unpredictable, constantly changing. To belong there, a robot has to do more than demonstrate what’s technically possible. It has to solve a real problem, work reliably, and earn trust over time.

We chose floor cleaning as the place to start. Nine years later, that remains the foundation for everything we’re building next.
