Build robots that give people their time back.

Why we build
Hard problems, in the real world
Matic is a hardworking, tight-knit team making robots designed to become a useful part of everyday life. That means solving hard multidisciplinary problems, from how a robot perceives and navigates the world to design, assembly, launch, and product support. The reward is seeing our work come together in something real people use every day. We’ve spent seven years solving problems without obvious answers. There are still plenty left.

What it’s like to work at Matic

Take on the whole problem
Don’t stop at the edge of your job description. Follow the problem to wherever it leads.

Try what might not work
We’d rather test a strong idea than default to the conventional one. Sometimes it fails. Then we learn.

Sweat what ships
The details matter because someone will live with the result. We take pride in the whole product, not just an individual piece of it.

Stay curious
Ask questions, learn outside your lane, and be willing to change your mind when the work tells you to.

A different approach to building home robots

Mehul Nariyawala
Founder & President
Mehul has spent his career turning breakthrough technology into products people use every day. He co-founded Matic to do that for autonomous home robots. Before Matic, he co-founded Flutter and led business development at Like.com, which were both acquired by Google. He later led product at Google Nest.

“When I left Tesla for Matic eight years ago, more than one person told me it wouldn’t work. I didn’t listen. Why? The answer is simple. I fell in love with the vision, the idea, and the problem we wanted to solve.”
Anshuman Kumar Head of Hardware

“At Matic, I get to do something different: own the whole chain. Working at Tesla taught me impossible timelines are just timelines; Amazon taught me scale. But here, when there’s no playbook, you get to write one.”
Ganesh Shete NPI & Inventory Manager

“When I design Matic’s UX/UI, I think about my mom, my grandma, and my seven-year-old niece. The goal is to make the experience so natural that it stops feeling like a feature and simply becomes part of everyday life.”
Yuri Kim UX Designer
